Dr. Hai is a dedicated concierge periodontist with an impressive educational background. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Honors from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Following this, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the UCLA Venice Dental Center. She then specialized in Periodontics at the UCSF School of Dentistry, where she also earned a Master’s degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.

As a former program director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at UCLA Venice Dental Center, Dr. Hai remains active in education by volunteering her time to teach residents. Her dedication to the field has earned her prestigious honors, including the California Society of Periodontists Outstanding Graduate Research Award and the Global Oral Health Research Fellowship. Her specialized research on the use of antibiotics in periodontics is featured in the Journal of Periodontology. Drawing from her diverse background across academia, community clinics, and private practice, she approaches patient care with exceptional warmth and compassion.

Clinically, Dr. Hai is an expert in periodontics, traditional and ceramic dental implants, and All-on-4 full-arch restorations. She focuses on restoring gum health, rebuilding lost bone, and replacing missing teeth, frequently performing same-day smile reconstructions. She also prioritizes innovative treatments for patients who might not qualify for standard surgical procedures. Her advanced clinical offerings include minimally invasive gum grafting, gum lifts and contouring, and lip repositioning for gummy smiles.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Hai loves spending time with family and friends. She stays active caring for her dogs and cat, playing board games like Settlers of Catan, enjoying the outdoors, and participating in local community service.
